 | Police: evidence backs up self-defense in Tupelo shooting (MS)
OpSD --Police say evidence backs up a Tupelo man's statement that he was defending himself when he shot and killed a neighbor on his back porch. Police Capt. Rusty Haynes tells The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that tests indicate that 41-year-old Brad Nance was four to six feet away when he was shot and killed Thursday.
